Fit Turkey Wrap

Choose a clean red wine glass. Make sure it is free of detergent residue by rinsing with warm water and wiping with a lint-free cloth or allowing to air-dry.

Select and prepare glass

If using an aromatic herb, lightly bruise the sprig between your fingers to release oils and rest it on the rim or float gently in the glass after pouring to enhance the nose. This is optional and should not touch the wine extensively.

Optional garnish

If the bottle is at room temperature, place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to reach a light chill appropriate for a modern red blend (~16–18°C). Alternatively, use an insulated wine cooler or ice bucket with a short 10–15 minute rest if already cool.

Chill to serving temperature

Use a waiter’s corkscrew to remove the foil and extract the cork smoothly. Wipe the bottle neck with a clean cloth to remove any sediment or cork fragments.

Open the bottle

Pour 5–6 oz (approximately 150–180 ml) of the Red Blend into the prepared red wine glass. Hold the bottle at the base, pour steadily into the center of the glass, and stop when the glass is about one-third full to allow space for swirling and aeration.

Pour

If desired, gently swirl the wine in the glass for 15–30 seconds to open aromas. For younger or tighter wines, decanting in a separate decanter for 20–30 minutes can further soften tannins — not required for immediate single-glass service.

Aerate (optional)

Present the glass to drinkers. Suggest tasting for aroma first (take a short sniff), then take a small sip to evaluate body, fruit, acidity, and finish. Offer the optional herb garnish aroma if used.
