1

Chill glass

Place a rocks glass or coupe in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice and water while you prepare the cocktail to lightly chill it.

2

Combine ingredients

Add 2 oz Rock Town Hey Y’all Bourbon, 1 oz Campari, and 1 oz sweet vermouth to a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

3

Add ice and stir

Fill the mixing glass with large ice cubes. Stir gently and steadily for about 30–45 seconds (20–30 full strokes) until the mixture is well chilled and properly diluted (a slight frost on the outside of the mixing glass indicates readiness).

4

Prepare serving glass

If you used ice and water to chill the serving glass, dump the water and any ice. If you froze the glass, remove it from the freezer now.

5

Strain

Using a julep or Hawthorne strainer, strain the chilled cocktail from the mixing glass into the chilled rocks glass over one large ice cube (or neat into the coupe if preferred).

6

Garnish and finish

Express the oils from one piece of orange peel over the drink by holding the peel skin-side down and giving it a sharp twist, then rub the peel rim on the glass and drop the peel into the drink as garnish.

7

Serve immediately and enjoy. The classic Boulevardier is spirit-forward with bitter orange notes from the Campari and sweet, herbal balance from the vermouth; Rock Town Hey Y’all Bourbon brings a warm, slightly sweet backbone.
