Ingredients for Cold Tea Can

Method

Directions for Preparing Cold Tea Can

1

Brew the Tea

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Let steep for 3-5 minutes based on your desired strength.

2

Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the leaves. While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of honey or your preferred sweetener until dissolved.

3

Chill the Tea

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until completely chilled.

4

Serve

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves, if desired.
