1

Chill glass

Place a rocks or coupe glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill with ice water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz simple syrup, 0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.25 oz orange liqueur, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is very cold to the touch and a good frost forms on the outside.

4

Prepare glass and strain

Discard ice/water from the chilled glass if you used that method. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and grapefruit pulp.

5

Top (optional) and garnish

If you prefer a slightly lighter, effervescent finish, top with about 1 oz club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and express a grapefruit twist over the drink (pinch the peel to release oils) then drop it in.

6

Serve

Serve immediately. Recommend stirring gently once if you added club soda to integrate. Enjoy responsibly.
