Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp and Sausage

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and sliced Conecuh sausage to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and the sausage is browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Chicken and Tomatoes

Stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken and diced tomatoes (with their juices) into the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Make the Cream Sauce

Reduce the heat to low and add in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  5. 5

    Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped fresh basil. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
