It may not be a hot cup of joe but sitting at 7% ABV it’ll warm you up in no time. We happily introduce our first of many beers coming in then 2025 lineup. With a fresh brewed coffee taste paired with the heart full bodied sensation of a delicious porter we open the doors to conversation and question if beer can be a morning beverage too.

In a large mash tun, combine the Pale Malt, Caramel Malt, and Roasted Barley with 20 liters of heated water. Stir well to ensure even hydration of the grains.

Prepare the Mash

Maintain the mash at a temperature of 65°C (149°F) for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent clumping.

After the mash is complete, sparge the grains with hot water to extract the sugars. Collect the wort in the brew kettle.

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Bittering Hops and continue boiling for 60 minutes.

During the last 15 minutes of the boil, add the Aroma Hops to impart additional flavor.

After the boil, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller until it reaches a temperature suitable for fermentation.

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the Ale Yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow it to ferment at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.

After fermentation is complete, add the Cold Brew Coffee and Lactose to the beer. Stir gently to combine.

Transfer the beer to kegs or bottles for carbonation. If bottling, make sure to add priming sugar if you wish to carbonate naturally.

Keg or Bottle

Allow the beer to age for at least 2 weeks before serving. This will enhance the flavors and carbonation.
