Carbonation & Finish

Method

Prepare & Build

1

Measure base spirits

Add the well bourbon (2 oz), well vodka (1 oz), and well gin (1 oz) into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

2

Add modifiers

Pour in the fresh lemon juice (0.75 oz), simple syrup (0.5 oz), and add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters into the mixing glass with the spirits.

3

Add ice and chill

Fill the mixing glass or shaker with ice cubes until nearly full. Cap the shaker or use a mixing spoon.

Mixing & Dilution

4

Shake or stir

If using a shaker, shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty. If using a mixing glass, stir briskly for 20–30 seconds to achieve proper dilution and chill.

5

Strain

Strain the chilled mixture into a highball or Collins glass filled halfway with fresh ice (or a rocks glass for a shorter serve).

Finish & Garnish

6

Top with soda

Gently top the drink with 2 oz of club soda to add brightness and effervescence. Stir once lightly to integrate.

7

Garnish

Express a lemon twist over the surface to release oils, rub the rim with the peel if desired, then drop the twist into the drink as garnish.
