Instructions

1

Prepare Lemon Juice

Juice the fresh lemons until you have about 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds and pulp.

2

Make Simple Syrup

In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

3

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, and salt. Stir well to mix.

4

Chill Mixture

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour until it is thoroughly chilled.

5

Freeze Sorbet

Pour the chilled lemon mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

6

Hardening

Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.
