Heat 20 liters of water to 70°C (158°F). Add the Pilsner malt and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, drain the wort and rinse the grains with hot water to collect a total of 25 liters of wort.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil. Add Saaz hops at the start of the boil and Hallertau hops with 15 minutes left in the boil. Boil for a total of 60 minutes.

Boiling

Cool the wort rapidly to 10°C (50°F) using a wort chiller.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel, pitch the yeast, and seal with an airlock. Ferment at 10°C (50°F) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, dissolve 100g of priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap securely.

Bottling

Allow the bottled beer to carbonate at room temperature for an additional 2 weeks.

Conditioning

Chill the bottles in the refrigerator. Serve cold and enjoy your Fahr Pils!
