Method
Prepare Base
- 1
Soften and break up açaí
If using solid frozen açaí packets, run the sealed packet briefly under warm water for 10–15 seconds to loosen. Break the açaí into chunks and add to a high-speed blender.
- 2
Add frozen fruit and liquid
Add the frozen banana, frozen mixed berries, and 120 ml almond milk to the blender with the açaí. If you want extra sweetness, add 1 tablespoon honey or agave.
- 3
Blend to thick, scoopable texture
Pulse/blend on high in short bursts, pressing the mixture down as needed. Aim for a very thick, sorbet-like consistency so the bowl holds shape — add an extra tablespoon of milk only if the blender struggles. This should take about 30–60 seconds, depending on your blender.
Assemble Bowl
- 4
Spoon the blended açaí mixture into a shallow bowl and smooth the top with the back of the spoon.
- 5
Arrange ¾ cup granola in a stripe or scatter over one side of the bowl.
- 6
Place the ½ cup sliced fresh banana and ½ cup fresh berries in sections on the bowl for contrast and texture.
- 7
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons shredded coconut and 1 teaspoon chia seeds evenly over the bowl. Add 1 teaspoon bee pollen or sliced almonds if using.
- 8
Finish with an optional 1 teaspoon drizzle of honey or agave and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Serve
- 9
Serve immediately with a spoon. For a thicker, more visually appealing bowl, keep ingredients very cold and use frozen fruit; for a creamier texture, allow the blended mix to thaw 1–2 minutes before serving.
