Measure spirits
Add 2 oz reposado tequila, 0.5 oz dry vermouth and 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur to a cocktail shaker.

Add citrus and syrup
Pour in 0.75 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice and 0.5 oz orange blossom honey syrup into the shaker with the spirits.

Add bitters
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice (enough to chill thoroughly).

Shake
Shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the mixture is well diluted and integrated.

Strain
Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. If you prefer a longer, slightly effervescent drink, strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and top with about 1 oz sparkling water or cava.

Garnish
Express the oils of a lemon twist over the cocktail by holding the twist over the glass and pinching to release the oils, then rub the rim with the peel and drop it into the drink as garnish.
