Still Water (Bottled)

Method

Preparation

1

Chill bottle (if not already chilled)

Place the 750 ml bottle of still water in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours before serving. For faster chilling, submerge the sealed bottle in an ice-water bath for 15–20 minutes.

2

Serve chilled

If serving directly from the bottle, wipe the exterior, open the bottle cap, and pour water into a clean glass. If using a decanter or pitcher, pour the chilled still water into the vessel and avoid vigorous pouring that could introduce air (no carbonation is desired).

3

Optional: add ice and garnish

If desired, add up to 4 ice cubes to each glass. Add a lemon slice to the rim or float it in the glass and add a small mint sprig for aroma. Do not over-garnish; the goal is plain still water with a subtle fresh note.

4

Serve

Serve immediately while cold. Keep the remainder of the 750 ml bottle refrigerated and reseal the cap between pours to maintain freshness.
