1

Prepare and chill

If you haven't already, chill a coupe or rocks glass in the freezer for a few minutes. If using cold-brewed tea or coffee, ensure it's chilled before mixing so the drink doesn't become dilute when shaken.

2

Add 2 oz Jägermeister, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 0.25 oz simple syrup, 1 oz cold-brewed black tea (or chilled strong coffee), and 2 dashes orange bitters into a cocktail shaker.

3

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) to properly chill and dilute the drink. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and a frost forms on the outside.

4

Fine-strain (or double-strain if you want extra clarity) the cocktail into the chilled coupe or a rocks glass over one large ice cube, depending on whether you prefer it slightly more diluted (rocks + ice) or colder and neater (coupe, no ice).

5

Express the oils from a lime wheel or twist over the drink, then garnish with the wheel or twist on the rim.

6

Serve immediately. Optionally, if you prefer a slightly sweeter, fizz-forward variation, top with a splash (1–1.5 oz) of soda water and stir gently before garnishing.
