Instructions
Prepare the Salmon
Start by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a nice sear when cooking.
Marinate
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Brush the marinade generously over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Heat the Pan
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot, then add a little bit of olive oil to the pan.
Cook the Salmon
Once the oil is shimmering, carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them, until the skin is crispy.
Flip and Finish Cooking
Gently flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
