Cocktail

1

Chill

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 4–6 ice cubes).

3

Add 2 oz Ketel One Vodka and 1 oz Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur to the shaker.

4

If you prefer a slightly sweeter cocktail, add 0.25 oz simple syrup. For a more intense coffee aroma, optionally add 0.25 oz cooled espresso or strong cold brew (this will deepen the coffee notes without adding much volume).

5

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted. Vigorously shaking helps integrate the liqueur and vodka and creates a light velvety texture.

6

Discard ice water from the chilled glass (if used). Double strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh strainer to remove small ice shards.

7

Garnish with 3 coffee beans placed on the surface of the drink for aroma and presentation.

8

Serve immediately. Recommend tasting and adjusting sweetness on future pours if you omitted simple syrup.
