Sparkling Mineral Water

Optional Garnishes

Serving Glass

Method

Prepare Glass

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place the serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving for an extra-cold presentation. Remove before adding ice.

2

If not chilling the glass, add 4 ice cubes to the glass to keep the water cold without diluting it (use fewer or no cubes if you prefer no ice).

Pour and Garnish

3

Open the chilled bottle of San Pellegrino. Hold the bottle at an angle and pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve fizz, filling the glass to about 3/4 full (leave room for garnish and to avoid overflow).

4

If using, squeeze the lemon or lime wedge lightly over the water to release a few drops, then drop the wedge into the glass for aroma and a touch of citrus flavor.

5

Optionally, slap the mint sprig lightly between your palms to release the oils and place it on top or alongside the glass for aroma.

6

Serve immediately while the water is effervescent. If sharing, provide extra wedges and mint on the side.
