Method

Rim (optional)

1

Prepare rim

If you want a sugared rim, rub the lemon wedge around the glass rim to moisten. Dip the rim into the coarse or superfine sugar so it adheres. Set the glass aside.

2

Chill glass and gather ingredients

If not already chilled, place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes or fill with ice to chill while you prepare other ingredients. Gather the White Claw, vodka (if using), lemon juice, simple syrup, ice, and garnishes.

3

Combine base ingredients

In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. Add vodka if you're using it. Add a small handful of ice (about 1/2 cup) and shake or stir briefly—about 5 to 8 seconds—just to chill and slightly dilute.

4

Assemble drink

Fill your prepared glass with fresh ice (approximately 1 cup). Strain the shaken lemon-juice mixture over the ice. Open two cans of Lemon White Claw and slowly pour them into the glass, dividing evenly and pouring gently to preserve carbonation. If you prefer a lighter drink, use 1 can + 2 oz soda or reduce to 1 can.

5

Garnish and finish

Give the drink a gentle stir (1-2 revolutions) to combine. Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge and a mint sprig if desired. Serve immediately with a straw or sipping directly.

6

Note on variations: For a sweeter cocktail increase simple syrup to 0.5 oz. For a more tart profile skip the simple syrup and increase lemon juice to 0.75 oz. Substitute lime for lemon for a different citrus note.
