Punch Base
Combine rums and juices
In a large pitcher or punch bowl (about 2-3 quart capacity), pour in the Captain Morgan spiced rum, Bacardi white rum, and Malibu coconut rum. Add the pineapple juice and fresh lime juice. Stir gently to combine.
Sweeten
Add the simple syrup to the rum and juice mixture. Taste and adjust sweetness: add up to another 2 tablespoons simple syrup if you prefer sweeter punch.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors marry. If you need the punch immediately, add ice when serving but expect light dilution.
Color & Sweetener
Layer grenadine for color effect
Just before serving, slowly pour the grenadine down the side of the pitcher or directly into individual glasses so it sinks and creates a red-to-yellow gradient. If you want a blue 'shark' hue, stir in the blue curaçao into the main punch slowly until you reach a pale blue — start with 2 tablespoons and add more 1 tsp at a time to avoid overpowering the tropical flavors.
Garnish & Serving
Prepare glasses: fill each glass with about 1/2 cup ice (or as desired).
Pour the punch over ice, taking care if you created a layered grenadine effect — pour gently to maintain color separation if desired.
Leftovers: store punch (without ice and garnishes) in a sealed pitcher in the refrigerator up to 24 hours. Stir before serving and add fresh ice and garnishes.
