Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz huckleberry vodka, 0.75 oz blue curaçao, 4 oz fresh lemonade, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into the shaker.
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold and the ingredients are well combined.
Fill a highball or Collins glass with fresh ice. Double-strain the shaken mixture into the glass to remove small ice shards and any pulp from the lemon juice (use a fine mesh strainer if available).
If you prefer a more layered 'cast off' look, pour the blue curaçao slowly over the back of a spoon into the finished drink to let it sink and create a subtle gradient; otherwise the curaçao is already incorporated.
Garnish & Serve
Thread 4–6 huckleberries or blueberries onto a cocktail pick (if using) and rest it across the glass rim, or drop berries into the drink.
Serve immediately with a straw. Stir once before drinking if the curaçao was layered and you want an even flavor.
