Method

Prep

1

Chill glass and rim

If desired, chill a coupe or rocks glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. Pour a small amount of lime juice onto a shallow plate and spread the salt on another plate for rimming.

2

Rub the glass rim with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the salt plate to coat. Set the glass aside.

Mixing

3

Add ingredients to shaker

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Add 2 oz Lunazul Blanco Tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz fresh orange juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you want a touch more sweetness.

4

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well chilled.

5

Strain

Strain the cocktail into the prepared chilled glass over fresh ice if serving on the rocks, or double-strain into the chilled glass without ice for a neat presentation.

Garnish & Serve

6

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and optionally an orange twist or slice. Serve immediately.
