Build & Stir
Place the demerara sugar cube in a mixing glass. Add the cold water and gently muddle the cube until mostly dissolved. Add 2 dashes Earl Grey bitters and 1 dash orange bitters to the mixing glass. Pour in 2 oz Old Forester bourbon and 0.5 oz Carpano Antica vermouth. Fill the mixing glass with ice (about 6 oz by volume). Stir gently for 20–30 seconds (about 20–30 revolutions) until the drink is well-chilled, slightly diluted, and the mixing glass is lightly frosted.

Strain & Serve
Place a large chilled rocks glass or Old Fashioned glass on the bar and add a single large ice cube or sphere. Strain the stirred cocktail into the glass over the large ice. This ensures the cocktail is clear and properly diluted.

Optional: For a faint additional Earl Grey aroma, briefly hold the used tea bag (from cooled-brewed Earl Grey) near the glass and give it one quick wave to release a hint of bergamot vapor before serving.
