Prepare glass
Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice to chill while you build the cocktail.

Combine spirits and juice
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz Ole Smoky Orange Moonshine, 1.0 oz blanco tequila, 3.0 oz fresh orange juice and a large handful of ice (about 6–8 medium cubes).

Shake
Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.

Garnish and finish
Garnish with an orange wheel or twist on the rim. Serve with a straw or stirrer so the guest can break the layers if desired.
Optional / Serving notes

For a slightly sweeter or more pronounced orange flavor, substitute 0.5 oz of the orange juice with fresh squeezed pineapple or add 0.25 oz simple syrup to taste.

To pre-batch for a party, mix the moonshine, tequila and orange juice in a pitcher (3 parts juice to 1.5 parts moonshine to 1 part tequila), keep chilled, and pour over ice, finishing each glass with 0.25 oz grenadine.
