Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Run the lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or margarita glass to moisten it. Spread the granulated sugar evenly on a small plate and dip the moistened rim into the sugar to coat. Set the glass aside.

  2. 2

    Combine ingredients

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add 2 oz Ole Smoky Sour Watermelon Moonshine, 1 oz triple sec, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 0.25 oz fresh orange juice, and 1 oz sweet and sour mix to the shaker.

  3. 3

    Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and well chilled.

  4. 4

    Strain and serve

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice (if desired). Strain the shaken cocktail into the glass over the ice. If serving straight up, strain into the rimmed glass without additional ice.

Garnish & Finish

  1. 5

Garnish the cocktail with the lime wedge on the rim and optionally add a small watermelon slice or wheel on the rim or floated on top. Serve immediately.
