Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

Season the New York steak with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

2

Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place the seasoned steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

3

Sauté the Onions

While the steak is grilling, slice the onions. In a separate pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are golden and caramelized, approximately 5-7 minutes.

4

Prepare the Mushrooms (optional)

If using, slice the mushrooms and sauté them in a separate pan with a little olive oil until they are tender and browned, about 5 minutes.

5

Serve

Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Top the steak with the sautéed onions and mushrooms (if using) before serving.
