Remove the stems and seeds from the dried ancho chiles. Soak them in warm water for about 15 minutes until softened.

Blend the Ingredients

In a blender, combine the softened ancho chiles with the peanuts, dark chocolate, ripe banana, anise seeds, fennel seeds, peanut butter, and the soaking water. Blend until smooth.
