Build the drink

Fill a rocks glass (old-fashioned glass) with large ice cubes to chill the glass and slow dilution.

Pour 1 oz Campari over the ice.

Add 1 oz sweet vermouth directly into the glass.

Top with about 2 oz (adjust to taste) chilled club soda. Pour gently to preserve effervescence.

Finish & garnish

Stir gently with a bar spoon once or twice to integrate ingredients without over-diluting. Express an orange wheel over the glass to release oils, drop it in as garnish (or use a lemon twist if preferred).

Serve immediately with a short straw or without, and enjoy.
