Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the anchovy fillets, chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Coat the beef brisket with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). In a large oven-safe pot, sear the marinated beef brisket on all sides until browned. Remove the brisket and set aside. In the same pot, add the beef broth and red wine, scraping the bottom of the pot to deglaze. Return the beef brisket to the pot, cover, and cook in the oven for about 3 hours, or until tender.

Once the beef is cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the cooking juices drizzled on top.
