Preparation

    Prepare the Glass

    If desired, rim the glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into a plate of salt until evenly coated.

    Juicing the Fruits

    Juice the satsumas, lime, and grapefruit. Measure 2 oz of fresh satsuma juice, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 2 oz of fresh grapefruit juice.

Mixing the Drink

    Combine Ingredients

    In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, mezcal, fresh satsuma juice, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, and agave syrup.

    Shake

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

    Strain and Serve

    Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

    Garnish

    Garnish your Satsuma Paloma with a slice of satsuma and a slice of grapefruit on the rim of the glass.
