Method
Brew the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweeten the Tea (optional)

Add Sweetener
If desired, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or 0.5 cup of honey while the tea is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.
Cool the Tea

Chill the Tea
Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer it to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled, about 1-2 hours.
Serve the Iced Tea

Prepare Glasses
Fill glasses with ice cubes, approximately 1 cup of ice per glass.

Once the tea is chilled, pour it over the ice-filled glasses.
