Bloody Mary Cocktail
Garnish & Extras
Method
Prepare Glass & Garnishes
Chill a highball or pint glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare garnishes.
Prepare candied bacon: if using pre-made candied bacon, warm briefly in a 325°F (160°C) oven for 3–5 minutes to crisp; if making quick candied bacon, place bacon strips on a lined baking sheet, brush with a light coat of brown sugar or maple syrup, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–18 minutes until caramelized and slightly crisp. Let cool on a rack.
Skewer three pitted green olives onto a cocktail pick. On another pick, fold or thread the candied bacon (break to fit if needed). Trim celery stalk to fit the glass height and leave leafy top attached for presentation. Cut one lime wedge and set aside.
Build the Loaded Bloody Mary
Combine Cocktail Ingredients
Fill a cocktail shaker or mixing glass halfway with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka, 4 oz tomato Bloody Mary mix, 1/2 oz fresh lime juice, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish, 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper, and 1/4 tsp celery salt. If you want the spicy version, add 3 dashes hot sauce (adjust to taste).
Mix
Secure the shaker lid and roll or gently shake the mixture for 8–12 seconds to chill and combine. Avoid over-shaking if using a carbonated mixer. Alternatively, stir vigorously for 10–15 seconds with a bar spoon if preferred.
Strain & Pour
Strain the mixed Bloody Mary into the prepared glass over the fresh ice, leaving room at the top for garnishes.
Garnish
Place the celery stalk into the glass so it rests on the rim. Lay the candied bacon across the rim or rest it on top of the ice. Perch the olive skewer on the rim or place it into the drink. Add the lime wedge on the rim or drop it into the drink. Sprinkle a small pinch of additional celery salt or freshly ground black pepper on top if desired.
Serve immediately with a long straw and an extra napkin for the candied bacon. Offer additional hot sauce and lime wedges on the side for guests to adjust heat and acidity.
