Atlantic lump blue crab, Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, and accoutrements [serves 4+]
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole lobsters and cook for 10-12 minutes until bright red. Remove and place in ice water to cool. Once cooled, crack the claws and tail, and remove the meat.
In a pot of boiling water, add the peeled and deveined shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain and cool in ice water.
If using frozen Alaskan king crab, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, use kitchen shears to cut the shells and extract the meat.
On a large platter or tiered stand, arrange the blue crab, king crab, lobster meat, shrimp, and oysters. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
Serve with cocktail sauce, melted butter, and mignonette sauce for dipping.
