Suite Essentials
Position bed and protect mattress
Assemble and position the king-size bed centrally along the longest wall to maximize room flow. Fit the mattress protector to shield the mattress from spills and wear.
Dress the bed
Place the fitted sheet snugly over the mattress, add the flat sheet, and encase the comforter in the duvet cover. Arrange two sleeping pillows at the head and two decorative pillows in front. Fold the throw blanket neatly at the foot of the bed.
Spa & Bath
Install bathing fixtures
Install the freestanding bathtub or ensure the soaking tub is securely plumbed and sealed. Fit the rain shower and thermostatic mixer ensuring temperature control works correctly and there are no leaks.
Stock spa amenities
Fold and arrange plush towels on shelving or a towel rack. Place bathrobes on hooks or in the wardrobe. Arrange small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion on a tray or wall-mounted dispensers. Position an aromatherapy candle or diffuser near the tub area, following safety guidelines (candles on heatproof surfaces; diffusers away from water).
Comfort & Ambience
Set lighting and electronics
Install dimmable ambient lights and accent lighting. Program default lighting scenes (e.g., Relax, Night, Reading) if fixtures are smart-enabled. Place the sound system where it provides even coverage and test Bluetooth connectivity; create a playlist or link streaming service for spa-style background music.
Prepare textiles and air quality
Lay the soft area rug in front of the seating or bed for tactile comfort. Hang blackout curtains or motorized shades for light control. Place the humidifier or air purifier discretely and test operation to ensure quiet, clean air during occupancy.
Furniture & Storage
Arrange seating and surfaces
Place lounge chairs or loveseat with a small coffee or side table to create a relaxation nook. Ensure there is a clear pathway around furniture to preserve a spacious feel.
Stock functional storage
Install dresser or organize the built-in wardrobe with hangers. Stock the mini bar or beverage station with bottled water, a kettle or coffee maker, glassware, and a small selection of refreshments. Secure the in-room safe and verify operation.
Finishing Touches
Add decor and welcome amenities
Hang artwork thoughtfully to complement the room’s palette and avoid clutter. Place a fresh flower arrangement or a low-maintenance plant in a visible but safe spot. Prepare a welcome tray with glassware, chilled bottled water, and a small sweet treat or chocolates. Position the information binder on the coffee table or desk for easy guest reference.
Final inspection and staging
Perform a walk-through to verify all systems (lighting, HVAC, water fixtures, electronics) function and that linens and towels are pristine. Set the room temperature to a comfortable level (approx. 21–23°C) and activate the chosen ambient lighting scene. Confirm the room measures approximately 42 sqm and that circulation around the king bed is unobstructed. Make any final adjustments so the room presents a cohesive, serene spa-suite experience.
