Position beds
Place both double beds within the 31 m2 space to allow comfortable circulation. Position beds parallel with at least 60 cm clearance on three sides for access. Ensure headboards are against a solid wall and align beds symmetrically if possible.
Dress beds
Fit each mattress with its fitted sheet. Add the top sheet, then the duvet inside the duvet cover. Smooth and tuck sheets at the foot. Place two standard pillows per bed inside pillowcases, then arrange two decorative cushions and a bed runner across the foot of each bed.
Furniture & Work Area
Place one nightstand between or beside the beds (depending on layout) and another on the outer side of the second bed. Ensure each nightstand has a lamp and at least one accessible outlet nearby. Position the desk with a clear view of the room and adequate lighting. Place the desk chair so it slides easily under the desk. Position the lounge chair and coffee table in a small seating area away from the beds to create a separate relaxation zone. Install wardrobe/closet near the entrance with hangers and a luggage rack for easy packing/unpacking.
Technology & Amenities
Mount the flat-screen TV opposite the seating area or beds at an ergonomic height. Stock the mini fridge with an initial selection of bottled water and snacks if offered. Place the electric kettle, coffee and tea set on a dedicated tray on a counter or desk. Install the safe in the wardrobe or a secure cabinet and ensure the telephone is on the bedside table with clear instructions. Confirm high-speed Wi-Fi access credentials are printed and placed in a welcome folder.

Ensure the ensuite bathroom is fully cleaned and ventilated. Install bath towels, hand towels, and face cloths neatly folded or hung. Place slippers and bathrobes on hooks or a bench. Stock shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap in appropriate dispensers or travel-size bottles. Ensure toilet paper is accessible and the hairdryer is mounted or placed in a drawer. Check water temperature and water pressure for shower/bath functionality.
Comfort & Extras
Set the air conditioning and heating controls to comfortable default settings based on season. Hang blackout curtains across windows and verify they fully close to block light. Arrange ambient lighting and provide dedicated reading lamps by each bed. Test smoke detector and ensure fire evacuation map is visible near the door. Perform a final inspection for cleanliness, functioning amenities, and aesthetic touches like a welcome card or bottled water to complete the room setup.
