Method
Cocktail
- 1
Prepare glass
Select a large wine glass or a highball glass. Fill the glass with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, pour 2 oz Grey Goose Pear Vodka, 0.5 oz St. Germain, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.
- 3
Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted.
- 4
Strain and top
Discard the ice from the chilled serving glass if you prefer a less-diluted drink, or keep the ice for a longer, colder serve. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over fresh ice (about 3/4 cup). Top with 3 oz chilled soda water. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to preserve carbonation.
- 5
Garnish and serve
Float a thin lemon slice on top and add an optional pear slice on the rim or inside the glass. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail pick.
