Materials for French Polish

Method

Application Process

1

Preparation

Ensure the surface to be polished is clean and free of dust.

2

Mix Shellac

In a clean container, mix the shellac with denatured alcohol in a 1:1 ratio to create the polish.

3

Application

Using a fine steel wool pad, apply the shellac mixture in a circular motion to the surface.

4

Drying

Allow the first coat to dry completely, approximately 30 minutes.

5

Buffing

Once dry, use a polishing pad to buff the surface to a shine.

6

Finishing Touch

For added luster, apply a few drops of lemon oil and buff again.
