Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Rice Pilaf

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of rice pilaf with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed.

2

Grill the Protein

For teriyaki grilled chicken, marinate chicken pieces in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes. Grill over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. For salmon, season with salt and pepper, grill skin-side down for 6-8 minutes. Brush with teriyaki sauce during the last minute of cooking.

3

Steam the Vegetables

While the rice and protein are cooking, steam the broccoli florets and sliced red bell pepper in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

4

Assemble the Power Plate

On a plate, create a bed of rice pilaf, top with grilled chicken or salmon, steamed broccoli, and red bell pepper slices. Drizzle additional teriyaki sauce over the top before serving.
