Cocktail

Method

Prepare Rim & Garnish

1

Melt white chocolate

Finely chop or use chips for 1 oz white chocolate and melt gently in a double boiler or microwave in 10–15 second bursts, stirring between bursts until smooth. Let cool slightly but keep fluid for dipping.

2

Prepare chopped peanuts

Finely chop roasted peanuts so they measure about 2 tablespoons. If peanuts are unsalted and you prefer a touch of salt, sprinkle a light pinch of salt into the chopped peanuts and mix. Optionally mix in 1 tsp crushed graham cracker for extra texture and to help the rim adhere.

3

Half-rim the glass

Using a small spoon or brush, apply melted white chocolate to the outer half of the rim of a chilled coupe or rocks glass (choose coupe for an elegant presentation). Immediately dip the chocolate-coated half-rim into the chopped peanuts (and graham cracker if using), pressing gently so peanuts adhere. Set glass aside upright to let the chocolate set (5–10 minutes). If chocolate thickens before you finish, remelt briefly.

Build Cocktail

4

Combine ingredients

Fill a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice. Add 2 oz Skrewball peanut butter whiskey, 0.75 oz white crème de cacao (or white chocolate liqueur), 0.75 oz heavy cream (or half-and-half), and 0.25 oz vanilla syrup into the shaker.

5

Shake

Shake vigorously for 12–18 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the drink is well chilled and slightly aerated.

6

Strain & serve

Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass (use a Hawthorne strainer and fine mesh if available) to leave out small ice chips and any solids. Pour gently to avoid disturbing the peanut rim.

Finish & Optional Garnish

7

Optional peanut butter drizzle

If using the optional warmed peanut butter, warm 0.5 tsp gently until pourable (10–15 seconds in microwave) and drizzle a thin line over the top of the cocktail for extra visual appeal and flavor.

8

Top with white chocolate

Sprinkle 1 tsp white chocolate shavings or a few micro shavings on the surface of the cocktail. Optionally add a single whole peanut on the rim or float a light peanut dust for contrast.

9

Serve immediately. Encourage guests to sip from the half-rim to combine the white chocolate and chopped peanut texture with each sip for the intended buttery-euphoria experience.
