Sesame crusted tuna steak with tomato, avocado and edamame in a white balsamic sauce. Served medium rare.
Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper. Press sesame seeds onto both sides of the tuna to create a crust.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tuna steaks and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side for medium rare. Remove from heat and let rest.
Dice the tomato and avocado. In a bowl, combine the diced tomato, avocado, and edamame. Drizzle with white balsamic vinegar and toss gently.
Slice the seared tuna and arrange on a plate. Top with the tomato, avocado, and edamame salad. Drizzle with additional white balsamic vinegar if desired.
Garnish with microgreens or a drizzle of sesame oil if desired. Serve immediately.
