Method

Serve Sparkling Water

1

Chill Bottle

Ensure the San Pellegrino 750 ml bottle is well chilled (recommended 4–8°C / 39–46°F). Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours or place in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes.

2

Prepare Glass

Select a clean highball or water glass. If you prefer very cold water, add 3–4 ice cubes to the glass. Note: adding ice will slightly dilute carbonation as it melts.

3

Open Bottle

Hold the bottle upright and carefully remove any foil. Twist the cap counterclockwise to open; pour slowly to control fizz. You may hear a soft hiss as carbonation releases—this is normal.

4

Pour

Tilt the glass at about 45 degrees and pour the San Pellegrino slowly down the side to preserve effervescence and reduce foaming. Fill the glass to your preferred level.

5

Garnish (Optional)

If desired, squeeze a lemon or lime wedge over the surface and drop it into the glass, or rest the wedge on the rim. Stir gently once with a bar spoon if you added citrus.

6

Serve immediately while sparkling. Close any remaining water in the bottle with its cap and refrigerate upright to preserve effervescence for later.
