Sausage Links

Method

Preparation

1

Step 1: Prepare the Sausage Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

2

Step 2: Stuff the Casings (Optional)

If you are using sausage casings, rinse them thoroughly and soak in water for about 30 minutes. Using a sausage stuffer, carefully fill the casings with the sausage mixture, being careful not to overstuff. Twist sausages at regular intervals to create links. If not using casings, simply form the mixture into small patties.

3

Step 3: Cook the Sausages

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the sausage links or patties. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausages are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 70°C).

4

Step 4: Serve

Remove sausages from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite breakfast sides or on a bun!
