Method

Cans

1

Chill and open

Make sure the hard seltzer cans have been refrigerated for at least 2–4 hours before serving. When ready to serve, gently shake each can once and open it carefully to preserve carbonation.

2

Pour each can of hard seltzer into a tall glass filled about three-quarters with ice. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to minimize foam and retain bubbles.

Garnishes (optional)

3

If using lime, cut each wedge and squeeze a small amount (½ wedge) into each glass, then drop the wedge in for presentation. For cucumber garnish, float 2 slices in each glass. If using mint, clap a sprig between your palms to release aroma and tuck it into the glass.

4

Taste one poured glass; if you prefer a brighter citrus note, add another squeeze of lime or a light muddle of a cucumber slice against the glass before adding ice.

Serving tools

5

Place a cocktail napkin under each glass if desired. Serve immediately while the seltzer is cold and fizzy. Encourage guests to enjoy directly from the glass or return to the can if preferred.
