Prepare glass
Fill a rocks glass or short highball glass with ice to chill while you assemble the drink.
Mix
In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, pour 2 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, 3 oz apple cider, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.25 oz simple syrup, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
Shake
Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the ingredients are well combined and slightly diluted.
Strain and top
Discard the ice from the chilled glass, add fresh ice, then strain the shaken mixture into the glass. Top gently with 1 oz ginger beer to add a light effervescence and a bright ginger note.
