Grilling the Salmon
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush the salmon fillets with the marinade.
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium heat.
Preparing the Creamy Bleu Cheese Wild Rice
Cook the Wild Rice
In a pot, bring water or broth to a boil. Add wild rice, cover, and reduce heat. Simmer for 45-50 minutes until the rice is tender.
Make the Sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bleu cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the mixture is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.
