Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a large mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
Marinate the Chicken Wings
Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Bake the Wings
Remove the wings from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place them on the wire rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Coat the Wings
Remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with the thickened sauce.
Serve
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
