Fresh Berries Ingredients
Method
Sorbet Preparation
Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine apple juice, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
Chill the Mixture
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer it to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours.
Freeze the Sorbet
After chilling, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a sorbet consistency. Transfer to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Berry Preparation
Prepare Berries
While the sorbet is freezing, wash and prepare the fresh berries. Hull and slice the strawberries, and keep the blueberries and raspberries whole.
Serving
Serve the Sorbet
Scoop the apple spiced sorbet into serving bowls and top with a mix of fresh berries. Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
