Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to the highest setting, usually around 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. 3

    Roll Out the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 4

    Add the Sauce and Toppings

Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the base. Distribute nduja, mozzarella, caciocavallo cheese, and sliced onions evenly. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle red pepper flakes to taste.

  4. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone). Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
