Method
Prepare Glass
Fill a large wine glass or rocks glass with ice to chill while you build the cocktail.
Infusion Check & Muddle
If you want stronger jalapeño flavor, briefly swirl 1 additional slice in the wine for 10–15 seconds and discard before pouring.
Mix Cocktail
Discard the ice used to chill the glass if desired. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the muddled jalapeño (if using), Bendita Vida, Naranja orange liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, and fresh lime juice. Add agave syrup if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
Shake vigorously for about 8–10 seconds to combine and chill. Do not over-dilute.
Finish & Serve
Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice (if using a wine glass you can pour without ice if preferred).
Top gently with the chilled Sauvignon Blanc (pour slowly to float the wine atop the shaken mix, or stir once gently to combine).
Taste and adjust: if the cocktail is too tart, stir in a touch more agave (about 0.25 oz). If heat is too strong, remove jalapeño slices.
