2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey1/2 oz Fresh lime juice4 oz Fever-Tree Ginger Beer1 cup Ice (cubed)1 piece Lime wheel or wedge (for garnish)1 sprig Fresh mint sprig (optional, for garnish)

Prepare glass

Choose a mule mug or a highball glass. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with cubed ice to chill it thoroughly.

Add spirits and citrus

Pour 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey over the ice. Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime).

Top with ginger beer

Slowly pour 4 oz Fever-Tree Ginger Beer into the glass to preserve carbonation, gently stirring once with a bar spoon (one or two turns) to combine. Avoid vigorous stirring.

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and, if desired, a fresh mint sprig slapped briefly between your palms to release aroma. Serve immediately with a straw or bar spoon.
