If choosing Rocks (per serving)
Method
Prepare glass and rim
Casa Margarita — Rocks method
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with regular ice (about 3/4 cup). Add 2 oz Sauza Blue Reposado tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz Cointreau (or triple sec), and 0.5 oz agave syrup to the shaker.
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled (shaker becomes cold to the touch and a slight frost forms).
Garnish with a lime wedge and optional orange twist or wheel. Serve immediately.
Casa Margarita — Blended method
In a blender combine 2 oz Sauza Blue Reposado tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz Cointreau (or triple sec), 0.5 oz agave syrup, and 1 cup crushed ice.
Blend on high for 10–20 seconds until smooth and slightly slushy. Check texture and add a few more seconds if necessary.
Notes
Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing agave syrup by 0.25–0.5 oz to taste. For a spicier or smoky note, swap reposado for añejo or add a small pinch of smoked salt to the rim.
