Method
Prepare glass
- 1
Optional salted rim
If you like a salted rim, rub the lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks or coupe glass, then dip or twist the rim into a small plate of coarse salt to coat. Set glass aside.
Mixing
- 2
Fill a cocktail shaker about two-thirds full with ice.
- 3
Add 2 oz Lunazul Blanco Tequila to the shaker.
- 4
Pour in 1 oz fresh lime juice (juice one medium lime).
- 5
Add 0.75 oz orange curaçao for orange flavor and body.
- 6
Add 0.5 oz agave nectar. If your agave is very thick, slightly warm or stir it so it mixes cleanly.
- 7
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well chilled.
Serving
- 8
- 9
Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the glass. Use a fine strainer if you want to remove small ice shards and pulp.
- 10
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim.
- 11
Serve immediately. Taste and adjust sweetness on future pours by adding 0.125–0.25 oz more agave if desired.
